I have bought an ipaq 2210 with tomtom 3 and no gps reciever, so I require a bluetooth reciever and a mount, can anybody advise me on a reciever to look at and why ? also a mount (ithink having amplified voice and charging would be nice)

the two regular ebay bluetooth recievers seem to be fortuna and rikaline xtrac2.

thanks for any replies

Nick

Nick

I use the following set up, and I am very pleased with the GPS GR230 BT receiver and Brodit Active Holder with built in speaker.
The GPS GR 230 was purchased from Holux who give excellent back up.
The Brodit Holder was purchased from HandNav who also gave excellent service. The Brodit is expensive but good.
You can read the reviews on both of these on this site.

Also, you will need BT Reg Tweak, and use CF not SD cards.

Regards

Alan

Have a look at the Holux CR100 car kit with built in GPS and speaker system, works with your iPAQ 2210. Do you have a memory card you will require atleast 128SD or 128CF to hold the map data. I would also advise you check the ROM on the PDA to make sure its up to date before you install Tom Tom.
