Yes, a number of programs have been ported to Microsoft and Symbian smartphones. Have a look at the dedicated forums. _________________ Lutz

You will always require a GPS Receiver. TomTom Mobile which runs on MS Smartphone certain Symbian Series 60 phones i.e. Nokia 6600 is only available as a bundle complete with a TomTom BT GPS.
CoPilot runs on MS Smartphone and will work with any standard BT GPS and certain wired mice types assuming they are compatible with the particular handset.
Others to consider are Mapopolis, Route 66 and Wayfinder. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Thanks very much for your advice. Which of the later SAT NAV software would you rate in order and do any of them allow traffic reports?
Cheers

TomTom, Route66 and CoPilot all have Traffic and I personally would place them in that order of preference.
For me, TomTom's display and interface is the best and with built-in POI alerting it can take full advantage of our Safety Camera database.
Our Smartphone reviews can be found by clicking the 'Mobile Phone' link in the left hand column on our front page. _________________ Darren Griffin |
