New SmartST for PPC

Hi,

I've just upgraded to WM2003 on my iPAQ only to discover that my old SmartST pro won't install under this OS Sad

I contacted Navman who suggested that I'll have to wait until this coming January for the next version of the software. He indicated that one of the new features is full UK postcode searches and he also mentioned POI customisation. I thought I'd post this info here for anyone interested.

The downside is that it will cost me £79 with NO discounting, even though I'm upgrading - tight sods.

If you were really told that V3 offered Full Postcode search, you've been misled. It offers (upto) five digit postcodes. It does allow the import of Custom POIs though.

I'm running V3 (Pin300) here in Oz and note that the postcode search facility appears not to be available or disabled (greyed out).
Also, I recall reading in another area of the forum that the lat/lon could be edited in the Favourite's and this does not appear to be the case either. Only the basic details such as name, house number and street can be changed.
