Hi All.
I've had my system a few weeks now and last weekend I tried out the live bit. I had home checking on the desktop with the main application loaded and live enabled. Seems it showed where I was for about the first 10 mins or so and then nothing even though I could see the transmit button turn green on the pda. Home reported that it would show the name I'd set on the pda but there was a grey button displayed with no other info as to eta, speed, next stop or position on the map. And I've yet to send a message even with the thing set up in the house.

Does anyone have any details what the different colours mean, on the pda transmit button, I've worked out that red means its not sending and green means it is but what does amber mean?

There doesn't seem to be too much info on how to work this bit of the system. Would be keen to hear others experiences with this as it could be so useful.

Cheers
Phil

Assuming you have a permanent GPRSA connection it should work just fine (it does for me). Make sure to set the position update frequency to a reasonable value (every five minutes, for example)

Hi Lutz,
Many thanks for that, I'll give it a try next time I'm out.
