Navigator 3 On Storage Card??

Is anyone successfully running TomTom 3 from a storage card?? Also what is the minimum amount of memory required by TomTom to run correctly?

I have read the article on the registry hack for moving TomTom to my storage card and wondered if anyone else has tried this before I try and what were the results. Freeing uo any internal memory would obviously be a bonus.

I have tested it with TTN2, TTN3, and the new TTN engine, and they all work well off storage card (with the one caveat mentioned in the article - the ttgpseng.exe needs to be either in main memory or in the iPAQ File store because TTN registers it for wakeup (for whatever reason).

I would estimate the minimum amount of RAM required by TomTom to be 8 MB. This is with NO custom POI loaded. The more you hav the more memory you will need.
