My hope for Christmas would be for the following:

The traffic option for Copilot. (The only thing missing from an otherwise excellent product!)

And Nokia's 6630 35 phone on Orange UK!

I am assuming then that Moderators are not eligible for this competition, which is a shame, as I have been a very good girl this year! Wink Mr. Green

I would actually like to change things this year and send something to Santa.
I would like to send him (and Rudolph) a PDA with GPS, it must have the ability to route to an address, but also an extra option in the routing algorithm (fastest/shortest/magic sleigh).
Why would I send it to Santa?

'COS HE SEEMS TO MISS ME OUT EVERY YEAR!!!!!!!!

Dont forget to set you location as home in the favorites just to be certain he makes it.

Dear Santa,

Could I please have a Bluetooth GPS that is Solar Powered, because I'm a silly boy and keep forgetting to turn my GPS off!

Thanks

Al (aged 34 1/4)

I quite realise that I'm not allowed to enter, not least as I'll probably be asked to help judge this. In any case, I've carried out a major upgrade to my setup over the past six weeks; basically I've changed everything and have handed my old system to another family member.

My main wish is for fewer SD card compatibility issues in 2005! There still seem to be some troublesome SD cards out there, and I would hope that the market says such product is unacceptable.

My next wish would be that ESA get EGNOS available and, if possible, certified for safety of life operations in 2005. It's already rather late.

If I had to make a personal wish, it would be that the Vaja case I've ordered for my hx4700 turns up this side of Christmas, ideally without a hefty charge from UK customs being slapped onto it. Unfortunately there's no stock cases for the hx4700 yet, which means you can't order from Vaja's European agents. Custom cases have to be ordered via Vaja's American / Argentinian operation.

Dear Santa,
How about a "London Traffic Warden" POI / warning feature on my Tomtom Go? Laughing

I do not yet have a pocket GPS unit, but as a Christmas gift, to go with one (and my Sony Clie TH55) — a Solio Solar Energy Recharger.

http://www.solio.com/html/index.html

They do not yet have all the plugs to connect this up, but their support people have informed me that they are working on it.

For long distance hiking/treking, this is going to make me entirely self sufficient.

Easiest Christmas wish in years.

pocket pc with an anti reflection screen as standard (you do not have that problem with night driving), automatic updates and full a postcode search from the software companies as standard.
yours chris aged 44 1/2
p.s. as you are so close to heaven on your world tour you could ask the big one for 1977 prices, eg 77p for a gallon of petrol and the 30p pint Wink

Dear Santa Mick B,

Can Santa bring me some way to plug my mobile phone & gps unit into the cigar lighter without a multi cigar lighter adapter to connect everything and without having lots of cables getting twisted together with each other, and having to stretch coiled cables across the steering wheel, cause they make the coiled cables to short to reach where the phone has to be placed.

thank you
