Hi,

I have an HP iPAQ H4155 running windows 2004 version4.20.0
TTN2 v2.24.2 GPS v 2.08 with a Pharos bluetooth GPS. I can get my H4155 to see the bluetooth device and pair up. When I run the GPS v2.08, it does not get the signal (ie. the streaming dots).

I have an iPAQ 3975 running windows 2000 with the same software and Pharos bluetooth GPS and it work fine.

Is there something different I need to do to get it working on my H4155?

Thanks,

Mel

Wohoo! New operating system sighted!

Ok, joke aside. Firstly, GPS 2.08 is BAD, very BAD. Please completely deinstall, and then re-install version 2.07.

Then you need to identify the Outgoing Serial BT port on your iPAQ (can be anything from COM5 to COM8) and specify this in the GPS driver dropdown. Set the speed to NMEA 38400. Do NOT try to set it to any fancy "TomTom BlueTooth" .

This should get you going. Keep in mind that the BT hardware is different on all Pocket PCs, so the 3975 is not a good comparison (there the Outgoing port is COM8 )
