Hello and
I very much doubt you'll need an external antenna. Few Vauxhalls have athermic windscreens, though they are an option on many of the latest cars.
Particularly on a four year old car that's not right at the top of the range, I doubt you'll have any problems. If you do, you can always order an external antenna later.
Just one more thing - posting in all capitals on the Internet is considered shouting, and it's harder to read than mixed case posts. There are ways of emphasising text when necessary - if you look above the window you type into, there's options for bold, italic and underline. However, the standard forum text seems to work well for most people.

There's many people that like the Mitac Mio 168 hardware (which is what the PIN is), and the Navman software is also a popular choice. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
No problem on the capitals - we all had to learn once. I hope you can soon enjoy your new system. Meanwhile, feel free to head over to our Navman forums where I'm sure you'll see discussion from other users of the setup you've ordered.
