Hi

Does anyone know how the Navman iCN 635 differs from 630 V2?

Thanks

PS a speedy response would be very much appreciated.

My understanding is that the hardware is virtually the same, but the 635 comes with V3 software and you can also use the iCN remote control unit with it, though I don't know if you actually get one in the box. Speedy enough? :D

Shockingly speedy! thanks. How do you suppose PC World can be selling this for £600?

Dunno. RRP is £699. You only get one region unlocked (usually the one where the unit was purchased) so to get the full Western Europe will set you back another £149. As to the remote, it's not listed in the "Ships with" box, but is mentioned in the "Leading Edge GPS Hardware" box, both of which are on this page.

Wouldn't have thought it would be worth getting the ICN 635 over the ICN 630 just for a remote and V3 s/w. Why are you selling your 630 V3 though? I see it didn't meet your reserve price...

Hi

I'm selling because I've only used it three times. I obviously don't get out enough to get the benefit! It's a great sat-nav, too good to just sit in my draw gathering dust. I thought somebody else might use it more...

It didn't meet the reserve but it only missed by £5. Agonisingly close.
