Hi i am running a mio 168 and tomtom3 but i am having problems upon testing around where i live.When i put an address in and number it takes me close but about 4 doors away roughly 60yds sometimes before sometimes after the house.Is this write as im a little disapointed thinking it would take me to the door can anyone help as it annoying me . |

This is as good as it gets with TeleAtlas data. They intrapolate house numbers from the start and end house number of a street segment., they do not have every single house number geocoded yet. _________________ Lutz

Most SatNav systems won't be this accurate. SatNav is best used to get you to the street (local vacinity) and you then use your eyes to look at door/house numbers.
In some areas you will find it will get you right outside a house, other times it won't. As Lutz says, it really depends on how well the area has been geocoded, and for most, it means anything from 5-20 houses. |

Thanks for that info ill put up with it then if thats as good as it is for now,i honestly thought it would take me to within a metre,thanks for replying and will get it back out of the bin now , cheers andy. |
