Nearly sorted, more help please

First, thanks to all who have helped so far.
Got the Ipaq 2210 - love it. Got the software tt3, know I will love it as have used Go before. Ordered the globalsat sd gps receiver as I have loads of compact flash cards, can't wait to try it.
Final piece of the puzzle is a vent mount. Do others with a 2210 think I need a mount with speaker? I am not a music lover and rarely use the radio, but tend to gab a lot when driving. I am tempted by a basic swivel type mount.
This may be a stupid question, but is the pda not affected by the heat coming from the blowers with a vent mount?

Heat from the vent ? Ah, right - you live in a cold country... (For me the vent mount is ideal because it provides much needed cooling to the iPAQ)

If you use the vent mount you should close that vent and cut off air circulation. Heat is no good.

Have a look at the powered mounts from Brodit or Seidio - they also come with speaker amplifiers, and you will need that - the 2210 speaker is, hm, inadequate.
