I'm fairly new to GPS so maybe this is a daft question but.......
Using an XDA2 with a sirf star II wired mouse and running TT3. I find that there is a delay of a few seconds and sometimes i have passed the turning point/junction before Tom Tom advise me of the move. Also the arrow on the map is lagged behind my actual position by a few hundred yards!! I am currently using the map on zoomed right out so i can see way up the road!!
Is this normal?? If not is there anything i can do to make it more accurate???
Thanks in advance for any help :D [/b]

Hi there,

mostly there are two reasons for this kind of behaviour

- too many custom POIs
- running the receiver with SiRF protocol instead of the standard NMEA protocol, and maybe having XTrac enabled

Any of these the case in your setup?
