TomTom 3.07 Update

i phoned tomtom tech support, they advised not to install the v3.07 complete thing on my 2210 but said i can go ahead and install the gps 3.07 update only as that would work fine

i have done so and no probs so far. :D

After a lot of pain (and help from other threads on this site) I have TT3 working on my IPAQ 6365 using v2.07 of the GPS driver. Ignoring the main application, is there any reason why I should upgrade the GPS driver to this new version? I've been running for weeks now without a hard reset so I'd like to understand the benefits if any.

(still on about a dozen soft resets a day but that's Microsoft for you!)

There is no benefit whatsoever of any GPS driver above 2.07. (except to drive traffic to TomTom's support site, and consequently to us. Confused

)
