GPS with 4150 - absolute beginner

This is my first post so hello.
I have been watching some of the threads in this user group and feel you guys can help me.
I want to get up and running with a GPS system and car mounting for my Audi A4 2004. I have an iPAQ 4150 with loads of storage space. I like the look of TomTom Navigator and like the idea of using the bluetooth for the reciever. Does this sound like a good choice?
I like the look of the Brodit clip and mounting options. Will these work okay? Are they robust enough for long term use? Can the TomTom GPS reciever also plug into a cigarette lighter socket on the rear parcel shelf?

yes, that solution should work nicely. Make sure you get an active mount from Brodit, so all you need to do is then pop the iPAQ in and out.
