As a new TTG owner, I've tried to create an account on the TomTom UK English Web site, but all i get is a PHP error report. Has anyone managed to do this successfully. Until I create an account, I can't contact them by e-mail to report that I can't create an account... etc

If you have registered your TTG on thier website you will already have created an account.

Yes, I did register the TTG, but the online registration page asked for the number of the card that came with it, but didn't (as fas as I can recall) require me to submit a password, which is what the web site is expecting in order to log in.
The reply I got from TomTom for registering the TTG was for some reason in Italian! I certainly selected United Kingdom in my submitted details...
I have tried the username/email address that the registration acknowledgement was sent to, and a selection of possible passwords, all to no avail.

Well; interesting. I have now managed to get an account set up, after telling Mozilla 1.7 not to block popups from tomtom.com. The thing is, Mozilla usually bongs when it blocks a popup, and it didn't bong when the previous attempts failed. So maybe there WAS a Web site problem at their end which has coincidentally now been fixed?
Thanks for the suggestions.
