POI files - which folder?

In the past Checkpoint V2 worked for me but when I changed to a new laptop I did a 'sort out' and have managed to stop Checkpoint working on my Dell Axim X5 in the process - entirely my fault I am sure.

I decided to install the latest CP3 but I could not get this working and I don't really like the synchronisation so I decided to go back to V2. I uninstalled all the V3 file - I think, and reinstalled the V2. The CP icon is there but when I start it it doesn't show the POI files which I have lovingly downloaded from the laptop. I put them in the same folder as the TT3 GB maps - SD card |Great Britain ... but when I select 'Recorded POI's' it doesn't see them.

What am I doing wrong - please...

When you record POI it writes them to checkpoint.ov2 so make sure you have this to be displayed also as a POI in TTN3.
