Hi there
I have an Ipaq 3630 with the CF/Battery expansion sleeve. I'm just about to get a new car, and want a Brodit clip for it (Audi TT).
What clip do I get? I've had a look at the site, but its a bit confusing. I think what I need is a clip that has a socket on the bottom, into which my TomTom mouse/power cable plugs (instead of going into the Ipaq). I presume that I then just 'drop' the Ipaq onto the clip, and the clip has a plug that mates with the Ipaq?
Or is it easier to just buy a passive holder, and still use the TomTom cable supplied?

Hi Tom,
As you’re using a wired mouse instead of a Bluetooth one, it would be easier to buy a passive holder, and still use the TomTom cable supplied. So you would need the following:
848509 Passive Holder, Tilt Swivel, for expansion pack with 1 Compact Flash slot or 1 PCMCIA slot. Compaq iPAQ 36xx, 37xx, 38xx, 39xx.
213005 Move Mount clip
652676 ProClip Audi TT 99-04 Angled mount
Brodit only do wired mouse connections for permanently wired PDA mounts (i.e. mounts that have to be wired into the vehicle’s electronics), and I’m not sure that Brodit do them for the iPAQ 36xx range. If you go with the above list, you will find it easier to change the mount should you ever wish to change your PDA in the future.
