Backlight on whilst CoPilot is the foreground app.

Adjustable speeds for road types.

To ntrequire switching off copilot before the GPS is recognised again,

If you switch it off when you go into a meeting etc. you have to quit the app and restart for the GPS to be recognised.

Unless I am missing something...?

This was my first thought when I started using it, but if you don't have a charger cable connected (and you can't currently get one for the C500) then it will drain your battery quite a bit, so having it dim and only come on bright when you get near a turn is actually quite good.

I always religiously exit the app first, but then again I've always done that on the Pocket PC because the Bluetooth stack on the Pocket PC can cause similar problems with locking up or not seeing the Bluetooth stack. An inherent Microsoft problem I believe.

Menu, Options, GPS, GPS Setup - Done, Done, Done

Quicker than restarting when you get used to it.

Alternatively, what happens if you turn off the GPS and then turn it back on?

The last one doesnt work, as far as i can tell, this was kinda the problem I was having (i.e. if the GPS was off to save batteries but Copilot was still running, as apps tend to on the smartphone)

Will certainly try your first suggestion

I'd like an option to be able to choose whether the 2D or 3D map is displayed when using the Safety View and a junction is approaching.

Any chance of passing this on Dave? Thanks.

I'd like software that works for more than 10 minutes at a time.
