haicom 204S failure

Hi

I have a haicom 204S that for several months has been performing well.
It started to lose signal occasionallly and will not find a satelite at all now. The red LED stays on most of the time but sometimes flashes. I have tried moving it around and even taken it outside to try and get a signal. Any ideas please?

mplooney Iam sorry I cant help with your problamatic 204S but you may be able to help me with mine. I cant get it to work at all , my connection with my PDA is saying cannot open com1 port does not exist
Please help

why are you so sure you want com1?

could you give more details - what pda, what connection method, what gps app etc.

depending on the application you're using try all the other com ports that are available.
