memory low Help

2210 memory low. Do I have to take programs off or can I adjust the memory? I have installed a dictionary & since it has slowed things dow including Tom Tom

You can manually adjust the memory to give more to programs, however Windows mobile looks after memory automatically so your setting will be lost next time you switch on.

Depending on how much space you have taken up by applications you may have to take some off to give enough memory for them to run.

50/50 is probably a safe limit for storage / program although it is better having more allocated to program for memory-hungry applications.

I would try to keep applications to a minimum when using your PPC for sat nav to ensure trouble free performance but then I'm no PPC expert.

I was running the dictionary from button four & it kept it open . I closed it reduced the memory starvation by 50%
