hp 2210 & Holux GPSlim GR-236

Hi

I've been having problems keeping a lock to sats with the receiver that came with the kit of tomtom3 that I purchased about 2 years ago. At first it worked realy fine but just recently it will not find any sats after dusk and often drops the signal when it does. The receiver is located at the bottom of my heated windscreen inside a ford galaxy, and i've tried other locations like the side screen but this makes no difference. I do however get an excellent lock if I hang it outside the car at any time of day. I can only describe the receiver as purple and wired through the cig lighter to the PDA as there isn't a make on it and as I said it came with the TT3 and PDA kit.

Unless anyone has a suggestion I have decided to buy a Holux GPSlim GR-236 as the reports seem excellent.

Does anyone know if this will work with my current setup please.

Don't know about TT3, but the GPSlim 236 works well with iPAQ2210/TT5

do you have the tt3 on sd or cf card the 2210 does have problems with bt when using sd cards
