I have TT3 with the BT receiver purchased as part of a package through O2 with the XDA2 phone.

Part of the package includes an in-car charger to charge both the GPS receiver and the XDA. However I find that the charging light on the GPS receiver only comes on intermittently when charging in the car! This happens when the unit is not fully charged (I know the light goes off when fully charged). The other day the unit failed due to lack of charge! The unit charges fine when plugged into the mains!

Has anyone else experienced this?

Assuming it is the same type of charger as for the iPAQ which is a cigarette lighter plug with inbuilt voltage regulation (12V to 5V), one fixed cable and one removable cable

If you unplug the XDA from the combined charger does the BT unit then charge?

Are the plugs for the XDA and the TT unit swappable so you can swap charging cables and see if that makes a difference?

It could be that the regulator in the plug is not up to charging both the XDA and BT unit at the same time.
