tomtom POI file not working anymore

below is a poi file for motorcycle shops which used to work fine,until i backed it up and reinstalled it ,it took ages to compile the list and now i think ive inadvertantly changed something,but i cant get my head round the file format,Can you make any sense of it,and Crying or Very sad

get it to work again?

Unfortunately this look as if it is corrupted... Sad

I know this is no concellation but I would advise that you either take a couple copies of the POI and also send a copy to POI handler so you can always download it from their server.

I have learnt the hard way in the past...

Because you put the contents of the file in the message it is not possible to see whether the file is corrupt or not.

I don't think you can attach a file to a message so you have make it available on a website and put a link to the file in the forum message.

If that is not possible you could e-mail the file to me. If you're interested I'll send you my e-mail address in a PM...

thanks but it has been fixed for me using a hex editor to change back to binary,by a very kind person namely Richard the author of winov2,and poialert software,thanks again richard :D

Richard has written some nice utilities; I use poiconverter regularly
