SOC with Xtrac II am I missing the something

Having looked at the SOC plus when it first came out being heralded as a major breakthrough, only to be put in its place shortly after as having lag problems.

With the advent of the new Xtrac II version of this product which claims to overcome lag problems, there seems to have been little attention paid to this product. Least of all by SOC's website, which does not even mention it. The only review I can find at

seems to rate the product as being as near to perfect as possible. I am unaware of a review form any of pocket GPS's able bodies. It also seems that only a few sites are selling the product, and also only negligable coverage on ebay.

I would have thought this product would have generated a lot of interest, or am I missing a point somewhere down the line?
