In the UK there is not one source of information for speedcamera locations, for generating POI's. Although there are regional sites detailing some information, so I assume that the POI's are created by people regionally. As Speedcameras are being added all the time this list is being constantly added to when people have found new cameras.

You can create these POI's in a number of ways, firstly locating the position and then using map view on TomTom to create the POI. You can hold your stylus over the exact position and then select "Add as point of interest". This may be practicle if you have only a handful of POI's to create.

Alternatively you can either load CheckPOInt or POI-Warner, and drive past the location, adding the location as a POI through these packages.

Also, in the UK we have a great Post Code utility that allows us to locate any Post Code on TomTom, as this allows for full post code locating. After you have located the postcode you can refine the exact position of the POI and then add it as a POI.

ive have an easy way to add a POI quicker.

maintain POI > add poi > select a poi catergory (ie:pubs) ...........input city, road name and door number and then save it as the name of the pub you want :D

no need to browse the map and find you POI just input the address and save it as your POI.

HOPE THIS HELPS :D
