Tomtom Go - finding addresses

I am just about to ourchase a Tomtom Go navigator and am trying to make sense of all the refernces on this (excellent) site to finding addresses

How do you find the location for somewhere where I have the post code but the address does not have a house number - i.e Leicester Railway station?

tried a shop assistant in PC world yesterday and he couldn't help.

Hi Ian, You can type in the first five digits of the code and it should bring up all roads etc in that have that code, or you can type in leicester railway station and again it should bring this up.
I know if i type in say Gatwick Airport it will bring up the roads, the arrivals road etc, and also the railway station so it seems to know.
Finally, if you can find a knowledgeable shop assistant in PC world, then please let me know!.
