Hang with TomTom Navigator 2004

Hi,

I am using a Dell Axim X5, with Pocket PC2003. I recently upgraded to Nav 2004 from 2.24, North American version. I have a TomTom wired GPS receiver. I think the problem is the GPS Driver, since I had similiar issues before with Nav 2.24, until I swithced to GPS version 2.07 and things worked fine.

After I installed Navigator 2004, the map routing would take forever and then usually hang the Pocket PC. I tried to installed Navigator 2004 and then copy over the CAB files for GPS version 2.07, but TomTom would hang. Not sure if I did something wrong. Any help would be great.

Please read my article regarding this - It is no longer possible to use the older GPS drivers "out of the box" - you need to apply some pixie dust to this.
