|
|
Hi, I just bought myself a Parrot CK3300 (Bluetooth Hands Free Kit with GPS). I have paired my PDA (hp4150) with the Parrot kit and it all works.
However, I have a few questions and maybe someone here can anser them.
1) When I pair my PDA with the Parrot kit, the Parrot Kit Icon shows up with a big Question Mark on it. What does this mean? Everything is ok though, with the unit picking up the Signal from about 6 - 9 Sats.
2) Has anyone else bought this kit?
3) When pairing with the CK3300 what services should be available? I only get GPS.
Thanks in advance. |

1) That's ok and it means the PocketPC is discovering the services of the Parrot.
3) according to the specs you should see more services
Bluetooth® Features:
* Headset profile
* Handsfree profile 0.96
* Handsfree profile 1.0
* Phone book synchronisation
* Object push
plus the SPP (serial port profile) for the GPS.
Maybe your PDA is filtering out the services for which it doesn't have a client... _________________ Lutz

Now that you've had this a few weeks, how are you finding it?
Are you now getting more than just the GPS service? Are you able to get the navigation voice prompts through the speakers? Are the voice prompts muted during calls?
As much info as you can provide really! |

Yes, I'd be really interested in hearing about it too! One problem I read about on the Parrot forum on their site is that apparently when you use a SonyEricsson phone the GPS data is suspended while you are on a call, which seems to defeat the object a bit!
