hi guys been awhile
i just installed cp5 after de-installing 4 and then replaced the alk gps driver from there site but i cant get my sleeve to work
its a 3630 ipaq with a ipaq nav system sleeve , this old girl still runs very well and pretty darn fast and has never given any probs before , cp4 used to lock and stay locked but for the life of me i cant get 5 to see my sleeve
when i run the alk gps s/ware alone i get an nmea error ? never had that before 5 was installed
i have downloaded and installed cruxview and it dosent show that anythings working , i know that com 4 and 57600 are the right settings , what else is there in crux view that will help |

Don't know whether this is relevant, because I have a mouse receiver rather than a sleeve. But after installing CP5, auto detect didn't work, and I had to manually configure the GPS receiver (auto worked fine on CP4 and CP5 beta)

You will need to check with ALK to see if the old serial driver will still work and interface correctly with CoPilot Live 5. I will be meeting with ALK today so if I remember I will ask the question.
If you don't here a reply from me, post again to this topic and I hopefully should see it and pick it up. |

ALK new of this before release, downloading drivers will not resolve this, the only way I got this to work was to install copilot 3.5 as well and it makes everything work fine, I also installed copilot 4 but this made no difference |
