Can you import Garmin PCX5 waypoint files (*.wpt) into your mapping programs. If you can then try my POIConverter program from the Programs area on my website http://rjdavies.users.btopenworld.com
You can use this program to read the OV2 files and output WPT files.

Richard,
I believe City Select v6 can import PCX5 so I'll have a go this evening, thanks, this is very helpful.
BTW, nice website; fast, clear, informative and extremely useful.
I'll let you know if it works out.
Cheers

I've also used the POI convertor to convert from the OV2 format to the garmin pcx5 which can then be imported in to garmins mapsource product and overlayed on any of the maps (e.g. cityselect, world map etc) - worked fine - excellent program thanks.
