Removing 'POIplace' overlays

I'm another recent addition to the PDA naviagtion world and I'm already hooked!

I have an iPaq 2210 with Tom Tom 3 and have successfully installed CheckPOInt software with the Pocket GPS World camera database.

However, I followed checkPOInt's link to their sister website 'POIplace' and regretfully managed to sync my PDA with their POI database. This databse is huge and appears to make checkPOInt run sluggishly now.

I have emailed POIplace to ask how to unsync and remove their POI software/overlays and have received no reply - can anyone help please?, I would be most greatful!
