Hi
I have purchase an XDA1 and Haicom GPS device.
The problem i have is the XDA doesnt seem to be getting any information from the GPS although is sees the connection being present on the specific com port.I have tieed navigator software as well as a gps test program.
The GPS works fine with a laptop so i know it isnt this, also the xda knows that it is connected therefore i dont think its the cable or xda so am a little stuck.
If anyone has any information or something i can try i would be very grateful.
thanks in advance, |

Hi,
I set one of these up for my neighbour recently. I seem to recall it used COM 4.
Also, have you gone into connections and unticked the @receive all incoming beams' option. This is a well known stopper on the XDA.

Yeah, that rings a bell. I was maybe mistaken about COM 4 - senior moment!
Good luck,
