I'm using TT with Traffic on an I-Mate / XDA II and generally it works well but I've expereinced the following and wondered if anyone had any suggestions on how to fix them.

I start a journey with TT set to connect to the traffic site every 10 minutes, if during the journey I loose the GPRS connection ie travelling through a tunnel, the next time it tries to connect (after leaving the tunnel) I get a connection error, unable to connect. If I then manually tell TT to connect it connects and from that point on its OK.

Also when ever I connect the XDA II to my wired GPS receiver for some unkown reason it tries to connect to my WAP connection. It only happens when I connect first time, if I cancel the connection all is OK.

One final point it would be nice if traffic alerts were spoken instead of the single tone, something like 'Traffic congestion ahead'...

Have you tried updating to version 3.04T, this version addressed alot of the connection problems. I am running TT3 traffic on an XDA2 with Bluetooth receiver and found that the GPRS connection kept dropping out until I upgraded. Now I don't experience any problems.

I'm currently using V3.05T, and have my XDA II running the latest firmware V1.72. It's nothing major just a little annoying.

This might be the same as snother issue I get with a 2210 and a 6310i. If I'm on a call and traffic tries to connect, obviously I get the "cannot connect" message. But then the next time it tries, sometimes it won't reconnect.

I've found if I hit the red hang-u button on the phone, the next time it retries it redials the GPRS and all is fine. Not exactly the same, but I thought it might give you some clues...

Yep that sounds exactly the same problem, TT Traffic is unable to re establish a connection after a failed connection. A manual request is needed and then all is OK.

I have problems if my 2210 loses BT connection to my 6600 (ie it goes out of range for a short time) and then I don't seem to be able to get the BT connection to work (when back in range).... even though it is still saying it is connected? Sad
