Sat nav on Sony PDA

Hi

I have a sony PEG TJ35 E1 what do I need to allow me to get sat nav on this? I have looked round the web but cannot understand what the difference is between adding a GPS such as a garmin. and using something like a GPS mouse. Can someone advise me? Thanks

To get SatNav working you basically need three things, a PDA, a GPS receiver and the software that uses the GPS info and plots the position on a Map. The GPS units come now in all shapes and sizes, wired Blue Tooth, CF types that sit in your PDA slot. It depends what you want to use one for, if in a car, a wired mouse or BT is probably best, depending on length of journies, if you want to go out walking then something that is connected into the PDA is better. I use TomTom software, but this would not be much good for climbing hills, as it tries to pick up the nearest road!!
