How intrusive is the appearance of the antena? I can imagine quite a bit of work to hide the cabling, and then you have the magnetic bit on the outside. ANy pictures anywhere?

I purchased the external antenna, and it improves the TT Go 100%.

Very easy to fit, i hid the cable in the rubber door strips, i would post pictures, but WE the members arn't allowed, unless you have a web site.

It's not a question of not being allowed to upload images, phpBB does not support uploading of pictures for server storage, you can only link to an image on an existing website.

If you mail the images to me and also quote the forum thread URL I'll add them in manually.

I have just purchased a GO and so-far been pleased with it. One of the cars I use it in, a Renualt, has the problem windscreen ! Is the offical aerial the only option or do re-radiation aerials exisit for this product ?

There are other re-radiating antennas that will do, but with extra cables and needing power. The TomTom Go antenna is built in to the mount, so it's already powered. See the link above for photos.

I have just installed the external aerial and the performance is great. In the car I get ZERO signal - not even a whisper, but with the aerial plugged in 10 satellites.

If you are having problems - buy one of these.
