Slow Load Up on TT3?

I only got TT3 a couple of nights ago, and before even trying it I had installed Traffic too. The UKpostcode finder also got added, as did CheckPOInt.

Now when I hit the CheckPOInt icon to start up TT3 there is a delay of maybe up to 20 seconds. Sometimes, only the CheckPOInt icon appears down the bottom left and nothing else happens. I give it a soft reset or two and maybe it starts.

When I was on TT2 there was never more than maybe a 5 or 6 second delayt before I was looking at the map/navigator screen.

Anyone else experienced this? Anyone know why I might be having these delays?

load times are related to the number of POI files you load. try reducing these and see if it makes a difference.

Hmm, that could be it actually. I only have 4 ov2 files bigger than 2k...and one of them is my newly installed PocketGPS Safety Camera's POI weighing in at a massive 93k

I guess that means I may have to go back to my old Speed Camera overlays, which were only 17k in total...but obviously I'm guessing that means they aren't as accurate, or should I say they wont be as comprehensive.

The Pocket GPS ones just Great Britain right? Is there any way around this?
