Tomtom 1...which model of GPS ?

I have been using tomtom 1 for a few years and have now upgraded to TomTom 3 but would like to use the same gps. Can anyone tell me what make/model gps was supplied with the TomTom Navigator kit ? It has no model number or make written on it. I am pretty sure it is a TomTom own brand but I no longer have my old Jornada to see what was selected in the GPS model.

Simply select NMEA Standard 4800 at port COM1

If it's the black square GPS then it's a Leadtek 9531. Either using NMEA 4800 COM1 as Lutz says, or TomTom Navigator GPS will work.
