Hi all my first post. I am totally new to this so please forgive any daft questions. From the research I've done TTGo seems to fit the bill in terms of portability with the least hassle (ie vehicle to vehicle) but I am a bit concerned as to weather the unit would be suitable for finding multiple city centre calls. Just a bit worried that the unit will be able to keep up with me in tight city centres with lots of side streets etc.
Just put my mind at rest please Laughing One of these could make my life a lot easier.

If you are looking for TomTom GO to navigate you to the center of a City, e.g. City Centre, then no, GO and all of TomTom's products won't allow you to do this.

Keeping up in the city with lots of side roads, GO will fair just as well as any GPS Navigation product. The main issues will be visibility of sky, sky scrapers, canyon environments which will all restrict the coverage and cause problems. Generally most products work well in cities, another issue is Athermic/UV Coated windscreens which also dampen GPS Signals.

If you are concerned about signal, get a re-radiating antenna that will boost your signal. You put it on your roof ( 360 degree view ) and you put the other end close to the GO, should work like magic !

Thumbs Up
