I upgraded my 128mb SD card to a 1gig one and run tomtom and windows media player off it hooked up to my car stero system to create a windows media player powered system (gets the babes when crusing, ).
So anyway its dead cool and everything expect it takes ages copy files to the SD card via the USB adapter thingy and onto the PDA. its like slow broadband speed. I would have though it would be quicker. Maybe 10mb takes 1-2min.
Any ideas how to speed it up |

try a card reader? should speed up transfer a bit, as you'll be writing directly to the card. _________________ TT 730 |

As EvilTwin suggests, use a card reader. ActiveSync is very slow unless run over a network connection (such as the wireless network I use it over with my iPAQ hx4700) - at which point the speed becomes acceptable.

How much are we talking about for an external reader?
Also while on a similar subject is there any way i can connect say a 160gig external harddrive through the SD Card slot with some sort of adapter? Might sound crazy.... Worth a thought I guess. |

A typical card reader should cost £10-15
