I would like to leave the Bluetooth slipper hidden away in my car connected to a permanent power supply. The unit I have seams to power down after a while into a sleep mode. At the moment I am having to manually reset the receiver by removing the 303MMF.

Has anyone else had this and if so have you found a work around?

I saw this when I was using it connected to a IPAQ 221x but with the BT stack in my Axim X50v it's been rock solid.

I ended up using velco (heavy duty) and using this on the parcel shelf of my Laguna II. The good thing is that my car has a power point in the boot. So I just made a small hole to pass the power lead into and then stuck a small ruber gromit so that it doesn't make the hole any bigger.

I'm considering getting a MMX areil to so that I can hide the slipper but I fairly happy with it.

Hi people,

Yes I too would like to hardwire the unit, so as just to remove the cf/gps card when I need to go to another vehicle.

How does it go to sleep, no BT signal, timer??

can it be changed, currently when coming back to the vehicle I have to remove the slipper and reinstall it to wake it back up. Any suggestions on how I can have it be"live" all the time??

Thanks in advance,
