I have a very large map in GMF (vector) format. I want to crop it so I can upload a smaller area to my Pocket PC. Is that possible? |

I guess it is not possible, since there has been no answer in 2 weeks...
Second question: Is it at all possible to upload GMF maps to a Pocket PC? I can upload any other type of maps, but not GMF. |

GMF files need to be converted from Vector into Raster format to upload onto a PDA. They cannot be used directly within Fugawi.
I have just been doing some experimentation and have solved your first post as well.
To crop and export large GMF files to the PDA is a simple process.
1) Zoom out to a scale where you can see all the area you want to export.
2) Use the select tool to select the area.
3) Zoom to the actual scale you want to export as.
4) Export to PDA option from the menu. _________________ Mike Barrett
