Tom Tom 3 Maps BAD!

I have tom tom 3 and I must say that the map data is very bad!

I live in Chelmsford, Essex. Chelmsford has been the county town of Essex for god knows how many hundreds of years however Chelmsford does not exist, it exists as 'Sheepcotes' I have no idea where that is!

Whats also funny, I made a trip from Chelmsford, Essex to Grays, Essex but according to TomTom I travelled through at least 5 different counties including Staffordhire and the Scottish Highland Borders or such like (hmm only 500 odd miles out!

I don't know whether to move from Tom Tom or not, can anyone suggest a better alternative?

When I had TTN3 ver 3.01 installed, kidsgrove (near stoke) was missing, but when I updated to ver 3.03 it was added and worked fine, I'm now using ver 3.07, so perhaps check you have the latest update on your TTN3

Last week when mine arrived I had the ame probs........ it was set on the European maps and not on the Uk ones, changed it and its fine !!
