TomTom Car Kit for PDA (bespoke cradle)

i have a 2210 pda and as this was the only 1 i could find i bought it

but it wasn't till i recieved it ,i realized it needs a telephone type connector which i don't have ,i phoned global and the guy i spoke to said it was only for teh blue tooth type of reciever and i have a Haicom 204e gps receiver which plugs into the bottom of my pda
so what would like to know is is this cradle useless to me or can i buy a proper connector plug that i can use
