Hi,

I though that my GPS kit was sorted, but the company I work for have just got us all Xda IIs and I’m wondering what to do.

Currently I have an iPAQ 3630 in a sleeve with a SysOn CF that has 256mb of memory onboard, and I use TOM TOM 3 with CheckPOint 3.2, it does lockup sometimes but on the whole it’s OK.

But now I’m getting the Xda IIs I’d like to use that, I know I can’t use the SysOn CF, but can anyone recommend what to use in place of it. I’d like it to be fully mobile from car to car.

Also what happens when you get a phone call, and is anybody using a similar set-up and can recommend what to do?

Or is it better to keep a separate GPS set-up.

I would value any advice you good people have.

Confused

I have an XDA II which was playing up with TomTom2 but is alot better now I've stopped Active running. If someone phones me TomTom will stop running and I have to reboot.
I really ought to get TT3 cos there is an update to cure this

Thanks for the reply,

I think its best to close this subject, the Xda IIs is still very new and there is not much info on how to use it with GPS.

So I think I will look to buy a separate GPS system.

Thank You. Confused
