Tom tom traffic

Hi all
Well I hope someone from Tom Tom reads this.

I have used Trafficmaster happily now for a number of years. I am only a recent convert to Tom Tom.

I had been considering ditching Trafficmaster and upgrading TT to Traffic.

The content of this thread has convinced me not to do this.

I feel that support from Tom Tom is unacceptable.

They ship maps which are so far out of date it is not true. Then when one complains they answer that they are not resonsible for the data on the maps as they come from a thrid party.

They also sub contract Traffic data delivery to another company. Right at the tiome when most people will need to use the service it goes down for an extended period. The response again is to blame another contractor.

Well sorry for bringing you into the real, commercial world but what happens when you get a bad reputation is that business dries up and you end up going out of business.

Unless I see a marked improvement in reports on the product (and I don't mean in the press where good lunches frequently are rewarded with good reviews) then Tom Tom will not enjoy my money for Traffic.

Tom Tom is a really good product being let down by bad support and commercial naivety.

Come on guys get real and give the support your customers deserve.
