You still need to switch their displayimg on - press 5-6-5-1 and enable your newly added POI group _________________ Lutz

this means you haven't copied the bmp and ov2 into the right map directory. You can use the Nokia file manager to search for them. _________________ Lutz

I also have the same problem. Copied the ov2 and image file to the MMC card into the Great-Britian-Map directory but they don't appear in the list to activate as POI's
Anyone know how to help?
P.S. Sorry for the relativly useless post I didn't know how I could mark the thread as watched without replying. |

Hi NeilRenaud,
Do you have a 'Watch this topic for replies' link at the bottom of the thread page just underneath where it says 'Page 1 of 1'?
If so, just click this and the forum will then email you everytime someone replies to the thread.
BTW, after you post a message in any thread, you are automatically watching that thread then.
HTH.

Bo Peep,
Ahh yes there it is. I knew there was a way just missed in scanning over all the buttons. Thanks.
To anyone that has had this problem I found the answer in a different forum.
If you use Nokia PC Suite to put the image and ov2 files onto your phone you need to set the "Archive" property of the file on the phone.
To do this after copying the files aross using PC Suite select the files that are on the phone and right click, select properties and tick the archive file. Do this for all files that you have copied across. Once this is done the POI's should appear in TomTom successfully.
Hope that helps
