TomTom Nav 3 & Navigon v4.2 on same HP2210?

I recently installed Navigon Mobile Navigator v4.2 on an HP2210 already running TomTom Navigator v3.07 and the Navigon GPS Engine took over COM 1 previously used by TomTom GPS - now uninstalled and back to normal.
Is there a way in which the COM ports can be configured to accommodate both types of software or is there a GPS engine that will work with both?
Any advice about how to run both lots of software on the same PDA would be appreciated.

Have a look at the OnCourse Navigator review - maybe the 2210 also has the Prolific driver installed?
