Hi i have just purchased a new, sealed and unregistered copy of Navman smart st version 2.
Yesterday i installed it to my hp 2210, went out for a quick run to test it was working , no problems . tried it again today and the program will not boot up all the icons and shortcuts are there but all that happens when the shortcut is clicked is "default ime" or no title is displayed.
Any ideas ???. |

Mark, never actually seen the problem you describe, but occaisionally I cannot get SmartST V2 to start - seems to hang.
There are 2 options:
1 try a soft boot
2 take out the SD card (holds my maps) and restart SmartST V2 everything works. I then re-insert the SD card, the maps are read and I can use th application. _________________ Steveee

This suggests its nothing to do with GpsGate but I have managed to recreate both your problems by clogging the iPAQs memory and using up resources to the point where I couldn't launch Smart ST
Both "Default Ime" and "No Title" was displayed when tapping the icons and as you rightly said, the program refused to launch no matter what I did yet other programs started easily.
After a soft reset though everything returned to normal so I am at a loss as to why this won't work for you.
Better to ring Navman Support I think or perhaps someone with more technical knowledge could step in? as you could be running in circles with this one.
Sorry I can't be of more help. _________________ Ian.

Thanks for what you have done.
Does anyone know the number as I can't find it on their site? |

markrfc, if you haven't been informed of the solution to your problem by now, basically all it is you need to do is, start bluetooth manager, then start Navman.
If you need more help, post a reply |

Mine freezes constantly when I get to the legal agreement. I click 'Accept' and then it seems to lock up. It happens about 1 in 5 times I use the program. |

I haven't had that many complete lockups but more often than not it seems sluggish and can take a good 5 seconds to respond to inputs (accept screen or any other screen for that matter). It's also running on a 2210 with no other additional programs installed or running. |
