Help?? instructions for loading POI

Hi
Newbie here, I am completely hopeless at anything more technical than a kettle!! i have d/l'd the safety camera database and have got some vague instruction on how to install this in my GO, using OV2 and BMP files, but, there are other files in the folder too, .CSV and .XLS files. what do i do with these?? Basically i need full instruction on how to install the database in my GO, i am using version 4.40.
Also, how do you actually copy files from the computer to the GO
as i said, nothing more tech than a kettle

I'm a newbie also and needed the same information.

The link below takes you this site's guide to dowloading POIs to your PC using POI Edit. It's easy to follow. I managed to get through it.

The link below takes you the TTG support page on tomtom.com and their guide to getting the POI files you managed in POI edit onto the TTG. As before it's straightforward for new user.
