Hi all,
Is there a Safety Camara add on for the above unit & if so How do I get a copy & install it into the machine??
I can keep old warbirds flying but when it comes to this modern kit that's something else!!
Cheers........

Hello Geoff,
Sorry you had to wait so long for a reply but not to many people on here use the Medion System.
The Safety Camera database is available on this site so download that.
Unfortunately it does not work "Out of the Box" as they say.
First download a free programme called "POI Edit" from http://www.dnote.nl/pda/poi/PoiEdit/ then convert the downloaded speed camera database to ascii Files.
Next you need a programme called POI Warner its not free costs around £20
and is available from, http://www.navigating.de/Home_en/index.htm
Be sure to buy the version for Medion Navigator.
When POI Warner is installed on your PPC, go to Microsoft Active Sync, click explore, then My Pocket PC, then Programme Files, then POI Warner, drag and drop the converted files to here.
Next open your PPC click Start then POI Warner this should start the programme, next click POI Manager, then POI Settings, then Overlay Settings, click the + - box at the top right of the screen and put a tick in those poi's you want to monitor.
Thats it next time you pass a speed camera you should get a warning.
Good Luck........Abb.[/b]

Hi Abb,
Thanks for the info, I'll start as soon as possible!
The Medion system seems far better than the Garmin set up, I have the Garmin GPS V & the Medion beats it into a cock hat, as they say.
Cheers for now
